Reacting VS Responding

When we “react” our way through life - reacting on autopilot to the
situations and events around us - we are creating repeats of the
same situation in the future.

Instead we need to learn how to conciously think and feel through
each situation.

By responding, instead of reacting, we can direct our thoughts and
emotions to a positive place - one that will serve us in the future.

When we are able to realise that everything happens for a reason,
it is easier to respond with positive than with negative.

Lets use the example of really desiring a new car.

Then one day we are driving down the street and we get into a car
accident that completely wreaks our car.

What if this was a step in the plan - the Universe is helping to
remove the ‘unwanted’ car so that you may receive your new car?

The Universe is always wanting to bring us our desires in the
quickest most efficient way possible - which sometimes means
getting rid of stuff that is in the way.

Would knowing that cause you to react differently?

Would know that cause you to be excited knowing that your desire is
on the way? That the Universe has something better lined up for you?

The way we respond is a key for future manifesting because what we
are feeling and thinking NOW is what will be returned to us in the
future.

However, there are times when our ‘buttons get pushed’ and we react
the same as we always have. Usually this means that there is an
underlying issue taking place that is getting in the way.

It may be necessary to clear out the underlying issue so that we
are able to allow feeling good to take its place.

One of the easiest ways to change how you react is to become an
observer of yourself. If you are able to notice when you are
reacting you can detach from the reaction and observe it.

By observing the times when we have a consistant reaction we are
then able to start changing the reaction.

Talking to the reaction is one way to release it, and allow it to
move on.

For example - in the situations where we get angry, we can then
step back and observe that we are angry. From there we can say,
“wow, look at that! I am angry and I notice that I react like this
often during this sitation”.

As soon as you say that, your energy will shift and you will feel
slightly better. Then you can choose another thought - something
else that will continue to help you feel better.

You may then say ‘Wow, I realised that I am angry, what a great
step for me!’. Then simply keep talking to yourself, increasing
your positive feelings as you go along. As you contiue to talk to
yourself, and you start to feel better, you will then be shifting
your vibration to the Universe. The Universe will respond to each
higher vibration as you go along.

This process will slowly walk you out of the reaction you were
having - and at the same time start introducing a new reaction
process.

Deeply rooted issues may need some additional clearing. I highly
recommend EFT for these issues. Based on impressive new discoveries
regarding the body’s subtle energies, Emotional Freedom Techniques
(EFT) has been proven successful in thousands of clinical cases.
