Dr. Mani Sivasubramanian is a Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon who carries out heart surgery on some of the most needy kids in the world. Dr. Mani has utilized the power of the internet to help raise money to provide the surgeries. To date, his foundation has raised enough money to perform 26 children’s heart operations.
Dr. Mani is currently in the process of a 24 hour tweet-a-thon to bring awareness and these children and their heart conditions, and to raise money. With the money he raises he will be able to perform the necessary life saving surgery and possibly give these children a chance to have a long life.
